Is Bertrand Russell a Scoundrel?
Introduction
In this experiment, we're going to look at how your intuitions about love, loyalty and betrayal line up against one another.
Nobody can be made to love someone, of course – that much is not up for debate.
But leaving is not always just a matter of preferring something different. Often there are promises, shared plans, public expectations, practical arrangements, and another person left to absorb the damage.
In the next few cases, you'll decide when a departure is simply a departure, and when it starts to look like someone tiptoeing away from a fire they helped start.
